Hospital pathologist removed brain and placed in formalin.  Body was buried.

8/16/2016 - Next of kin contacted Oregon Cryonics for the first time to arrange shipment of brain.

8/29/2016 - Brain arrived.  Moved to fresh bath of 10% NBF with 3% glutaraldehyde.  Refrigerated.
