Local Standby

Any local standby services are currently provided unofficially on a volunteer basis.  Our equipment and staffing are constantly improving, and we plan to be able to offer more reliable services soon.  We can provide local advocacy and transportation within Salem at no additional cost, and we will do the best we can with the equipment available to us.

 

Remote Services

We cannot offer any services outside of Salem.  It would be too expensive and impractical.  

 

Transportation Only

For all remote cases, a funeral director would be performing the cooldown and transportation.  See Instructions for Funeral Director or Pathologist.  The funeral director may need to charge as much as $6000 for their services.  These extra charges should be included in your funding strategy.
